Kickstarter Update: Coming in November
Posted by John Meyer on
Hey Everyone,
As we approach the holidays, there are many exciting games just on the horizon. Here is what I'm expecting to come in-stock this month!
Clans of Caledonia
I have not had a chance to play this one yet, but I can't wait to check it out. I'm hearing a lot of comparisons to Terra Mystica, and I've also heard from several folks that it plays in a shorter time while still presenting tough, juicy decisions.
For now, you can preorder the Premium Kickstarter Version by clicking here (link), these are going fast!
Lords of Hellas
Lords of Hellas is an Area Control/Hand Management/Worker Placement game from Awaken Realms, the same team who brought us the sublime This War of Mine earlier this year.
This one LOOKS amazing, and due to the awesomeness of This War of Mine, I'm optimistic that the gameplay will be amazing as well.
Kickstarter Titan bundles are as of now still available for preorder here (link). They are pricey, but they contain a ridiculous amount of stuff, including "sundrop" painting on the minis.
Rayguns and Rocketships
Another game I'm very excited to receive this month is Rayguns and Rocketships by IDW Games. Players take on the role of different factions, each with their own rocketship and planeteer crew. I really like how they've combined the mechanics of programming the rocketship movement, and then giving players action points to utilize their crew and tactically respond to the slower-to-react rockets. I have high hopes for this one.
For now, you can order the Kickstarter Version, plus the Plastic Add-on Pack by clicking here (link).
Also Coming in November
There are so many other exciting games hitting this month, including:
- Impulse:2nd Edition (60-min 4x game) (link)
- Triplock (1-2 player puzzle game) (link)
- Food Truck Champion (Glory to Rome clone from Daily Magic) (link)
- Cytosis (worker-placement on the cellular-level) (link)
- One Deck Dungeon: Forest of Shadows (more solo/co-op dungeon crawling awesomeness in small box) (link)
- Rising 5: Runes of Asteros (Co-op deduction and adventure with amazing artwork) (link)
Wow! So many awesome games coming our way this month, it's going to be jam-packed with gaming goodness. If you have any questions about these games or anything else in the shop, please don't hesitate to reach out to me.
Happy gaming everyone!
John
